JANUARY MEETING 2012

 

Minutes of the meeting held on Saturday 7th January 2012 in the Marton Hotel & Country Club, Stokesley Road,

Marton, Middesbrough.

 

The Chairman opened the meeting at 12.10hrs.

Minutes of the Previous Meeting: The minutes of the meeting held on Saturday December 3rd 2011

                                                          were read and deemed a true record.

Matters arising from the minutes: Nil

                                                           

Correspondence: IN:  a) Bank Statement.

                                     b) Letter from WOI RSM V Stokes

                                         c) Letter from MiddlesbroughCouncil.

                               

                            OUT: a) Letter  to WOI ASM V Stokes.

                                         b) Letter to WOI RSM D Morrell.

                         

Matters arising from the Correspondence: Nil

 

Proposed: F Gilchrist.                                                                                                Seconded: F Kidd.

                             That the correspondence be adopted.

 

Treasurer’s Report: Treasurer I Camp gave details of the accounts to the end of December 2011

                                   The Secretary/ Deputy Treasurer asked for two members to see him after the meeting to audit the

                                   Accounts for the year ending 31st December 2011

                               

Welfare Report: a) The Secretary reported that C Sherris had a hip replacement which has not been successful and is         

                                 going back into hospital in February.

                                b) The Chairman reported that P Manuel is suffering with his foot, and that P Mitchell

                                 is still recovering.

                                c) Mrs A Wise is improving well.

                                                                               

Social Secretary: The Social Secretary reported that the Christmas lunch had been very enjoyable, the Secretary

                              reported that the daughter of TommHarris had provided a beautiful cake which was auctioned for

                              Coldstream Kids which raised £35.00 also that he had received a call for O Parkes who asked him to

                              congratulate the committee for an excellent afternoon.                                                                                                               The next Social Event will be the St George’s Day dinner, those wishing to attend should inform the

                             Secretary ASAP.                                                              

 

Any Other Business: The Secretary reported that he had been nominated by V/P M Finkill to be a Vice President of

                                   Coldstream Kids and that he had been accepted.

                                                                                                                                                                               

Being no further Business to discuss the Chairman thanked the members for their attendance and   then closed the meeting at 13.07 hrs.

 

*** The next meeting will be held on Saturday February 4th 2012: This will be the AGM
