Although due age the quality is not first class,
it is such a rare photograph, it deserves its place in the Hall of Fame

The total number of permanent staff is amazing, more than half a modern Battalion were engaged in training recruits.
A tiny fraction of that number is employed at this present time, training the whole of the Footguards.
