1.       The Incremental Companies, No 7 Company, F Company and Nijmegan are now situated in Wellington Barracks along with all the Regimental Bands.

2.       Queens Birthday Parade tickets: Branches are only allowed their allotted allocation.

If you require tickets you must write in January/February only to:

The Brigade Major, Headquarters Household Division, Horse Guards, Whitehall, London. SW1A 2AX, but do not over order because you will not get them.

There will be no refunds if the event is cancelled.

3.       Coldstream Guards Association Day 2011: To be held in the Land of Nod, this has now been cancelled due to lack of numbers.

4.       Memorial Weekend 2012: Will be held 13th May. Parade order. 3/4/5 Battalions, 1st Battalion with 2nd Battalion bringing up the rear. Bradford will provide the wreath bearers.

5.       Regimental Christmas cards 2011: these have now been improved, with the embossed star and Blue/red/Blue ribbon on the front, with a drums picture on the inside left page and the verse on the right and will cost 60p each.

6.       Regimental Diary: Exactly same, cost £6.50 Inc P&P.

7.       The Coldstream Guards Association Accounts: When questioned  why they are not available for the Conference, the Secretaries were informed that some Secretaries do not get their accounts in until May of each year, and again when asked why do the Secretaries not get them when they are available, the reply was, you can have a copy on request.

8.       Branch dates: Secretaries to avoid Bank Holidays when changing dates

9.       The Coldstream Guards Association Centenary: To be arranged.

10.   Presidents and Vice Presidents should be in possession of membership cards.

11.   Branch Bank Details to Regimental Headquarters: So cheques can be deposited straight to Branch account.

12.   Regimental Band: There will be no Concerts, too costly.

13.   York Races; The Secretaries voted against monies from the Sweepstakes Dividend being used to sponsor the race at York. We may not have a race this year unless a sponsor can be found.

14.   The Sponsorship costs increase every year, last year £3.500 could be £4.000 plus  this year if we find a sponsor.

15.   The Coldstream Association Sweepstakes: This will now be run by a committee elected from the Branch Secretaries and will not involve Regimental Headquarters.

16.   Families of deceased serving members to be allowed membership of the Branches.

17.   I made known my disappointment at the formation of the 2009 Coldstream Gazette and the amount of time it took to produce and asked that it remain the “ The Journal of the Coldstream Guards Association”, I have also asked for a limit on the number of pages (100) due the cost of postage forwarding them to Branch members
