PERRY'S PRIDE FORMER GSM PERRY MASON'S FUND RAISING EVENT
Fellow Coldstreamers, Ladies and Gentlemen, as you are all probably aware; in 2010 Perry Mason was diagnosed with Lung Cancer.
This year, Perry has felt well enough to attend a few Branch Dinners which culminated in his appearance at the Blackpool 2011 Reunion.
During this time he has been completely overwhelmed by the encouragement and support he has received from the entire Coldstream 'family' and this has given and continues to give him the determination to fight this dreadful disease.
As a consequence and to show his appreciation and thanks he would like to raise funds for causes which are all very close to his heart and he knows that with the continued support of Coldstreamers past and present this is achievable.
The three nominated causes are:-
With the kind permission of the 1st Battalion Sergeant's Mess, the Coldstream Guards Associations (listed below) and the Blackpool Reunion Team,
funds will be raised in aid of these causes by way of a Lucky Dip which will be followed by an Auction.
All Lucky Dip items are videos or book's and the auction items are other memorabilia spanning the exemplary career of the former Garrison Sergeant Major. Winners of the Lucky Dip will also receive a signed photo of our mentor.
The man himself has very kindly agreed to have his photo taken with all of the lucky winners on the night, which he will then sign personally.
All Lucky Dip and Auction items are from Perry's own personal collection.
This is a once in a lifetime opportunity to own your own piece of 'Perry's Pride'.
On 19th November Perry's Pride Team attended the Leicester Branch Dinner, where, with the kind permission of the President fund raising began.
If you would like to attend one of the Branch Dinners/Blackpool Coldstreamers Reunion, where the Lucky Dips and Auctions are to take place the venues are as follows:-2012 "
